Three things to know before designing your website.
Shown in a nested set of lists.

  1. Audience
    • Accessibility
Does the page use HTML standards that can be read by everyone, on all browsers, search engines, and platforms?
    • Progressive Enhancement
Make sure your page is functional on old browsers, but takes advantage of the advances offered by newer browsers.
    • Usability
Is your site easy to navigate? Can you find the content you're looking for? Is the text legible and understandable?
  2. Content
    • Structure
Keep the structure simple and elegant. Use effects to enhance your content, not hide it.
    • Navigation
Make sure that the content people are looking for is the content that's easiest to find.
  3. Style
    • Keep it Simple
A simple style will help to enhance your content, rather than hide it.
    • Easy to Read
Make sure that the text is legible, high contrast, and the fonts are easy on the eyes.
    • Careful with Color
Choose your color scheme carefully and stick to it.

Building this page was easy. We started with a Simple List stack, of course. The main list is set to be numbered and have a 200% title font size. Into each list item we added another Simple List stack.
The sub-list is styled without numbers or indents. The font is set to 125%. We also opened the Advanced settings and added a 10px blue border, but only to the right side.

Once we had one sub-list just the way we wanted we copied it (drag + Option key) to the other items.
